Mountain View Dairy Farm was established in the late 1950s by Mapher Souther. It is a 3-generation family farm that has been owned and operated by Mapher's sons, Arnold and Carl Souther, and subsequently Mapher's grandson, Nathan Souther. We currently milk 750 cows three times a day. Forage Delights LLC branched off the dairy business in Spring 2019.

Nathan Souther was born and raised in Union Grove, NC. He has worked on the family dairy farm since he was a small boy and started managing the farm at age 21. He is married to his sweetheart Mary who showed up on his farm while working for his veterinarian. They have 3 beautiful daughters (Evelyn, Heidi, and Caroline) and a 4th baby on the way!

We offer premium quality alfalfa in individual square bales or 21-bale bundles for your convenience. Our alfalfa is enjoyed by horses, goats, rabbits, and more! Prices vary depending on the amount purchased. Customers may choose from individual bales, bundles, a gooseneck trailer load, or tractor trailer load. Pick up and/or delivery options available.
